摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell of high efficiency and sufficient electrochemical reaction by pressing the mutual contact faces of unit cells in a laminated body appropriately and uniformly. SOLUTION: This fuel cell has a laminated body 25 constituted by laminating a plurality of unit cells 24 each of which has an electrode film joint body 13 formed by holding an electrolyte film 8 between an oxidizing agent electrode 9 and a fuel electrode 10, a first separator 21 coming in contact with the oxidizing agent electrode 9 and having an oxidizing agent passage 21a, and a second separator 22 coming in contact with the fuel electrode 10 and having a fuel passage 22a. Elastic resiliency is generated in a laminating direction by inserting an elastic body 23 formed of metal of corrugated cross section, between a plurality of unit cells 24, and the first separator 21 and the second separator 22 apply appropriate and uniform pressing force to the whole contact surface of the electrode film joint body 13.
