摘要 The invention relates to a method for eliminating oxygenated organic molecules, such as organic acids and alcohols, which are present in a liquid or gaseous organic effluent. The inventive method is characterised in that the elimination is carried out by absorption on alumina agglomerates having the following characteristics: - the specific surface area thereof is greater than or equal to 10 m²/g, and preferably 30 m²/g; said agglomerates optionally contain one or more dopants of alkaline metals, earth-alkaline metals or rare earths having a total weight content that is less than or equal to 50 %, preferably 25 %, better still between 5000 ppm and 20 % or, even better, between 5000 ppm and 12 %; - if the dopant content of said agglomerates is greater than or equal to 5000 ppm, the total porous volume thereof is greater than or equal to 30 ml/100g and, better still, 35 ml/100g, and the V70 ANGSTROM thereof is greater than or equal to 10ml/100g, preferably greater than or equal to 15ml/100g, better still greater than or equal to 22ml/100g, even better greater than or equal to 28ml/100g and, optimally, greater than or equal to 35ml/100g; - if the dopant content of said agglomerates is less than 5000 ppm, the total porous volume thereof is greater than or equal to 45 ml/100g, preferably 50ml/100g and, better still, 55 ml/100g, and the V70 ANGSTROM thereof is greater than or equal to 15ml/100g, preferably 22ml/100g, better still 28ml/100g or, optimally, 35ml/100g.
