PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reflect a system setting change requested from an operator in real time to server application during starting up in a transaction processing system. SOLUTION: When the system setting change request is input by the operator 10, a manager 3 updates a system setting information table 9. Also, the system setting change request is queued into reception queues 6-1 to 6-3 for use in setting change in one-to-one correspondence with each server application 4-1 to 4-3. Each server application 4-1 to 4-3 monitors regularly the reception queues 6-1 to 6-3 for use in setting change corresponding to own application in the same way as a reception queue 5 for use in transaction. Upon detecting the queuing of the system setting change request, it is extracted and executed to change the system setting in the own application.
