PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent misinsertion of a battery and improve general usability. SOLUTION: A battery 11 is a chargeable package type battery, wherein plural cylindrical battery bodies 15 are arranged. In the opposite direction of the battery 11, a first protrusion 24 and a second protrusion 25, having different sizes from each other, are made to protrude. A containing device 12 comprises a battery box 31, and a lid body 33 for covering an opening 32 of the box 31. A first recessed part 41 and a second recessed part 42 wherein the first and second protrusions 24, 25 are respectively inserted are formed on the device 12. A detection switch 44 is placed inside the part 42. By the respective protrusions 24, 25 and recessed parts 41, 42, misinsertion of the battery 11 is prevented. Using the switch 44, it is determined whether the cell is for the exclusive use. Since the protrusions 24, 25 are mounted on the battery 11, the device 12 does not have protrusions, and plural kinds of batteries other than the exclusive battery 11 can be inserted fro improving the general usability.
