<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding frame for an underground structure cover capable of facilitating the installation, reducing a cost and preventing the incursion of earth and sand. SOLUTION: The holding frame 11 for forming the edge of a rectangular opening 12 closed by the cover 13 includes a bedrock 15 placed along edges forming two sides opposed to the opening and fixed with an anchor bolt 21 and an upright wall 16 having the inside opposed to the outside of the cover raised from the bedrock, and the upright wall is raised from the outside end and, at the same time, a cover supporting shelf 17 is projected to the inside of the upright wall. The cover supporting shelf is lacking in an upper position of the anchor bolt. Divided sections 26 are provided to parts extended along the edge of the opening, and the upright wall in the divided section is so formed that it has overlapping parts 16a and 16b each other in the direction of a wall thickness in both divided side parts. A recess section is provided to the face between the overlapping parts, and a sealing compound is filled between the divided sections.</p> |
