PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain tungsten oxide fine particles usable for a constituting material of a ceramic capacitor and an electrochromic element, and for a developing photocatalytic function in the coexistence of TiO2 , and to provide a method for producing the tungsten oxide fine particles. SOLUTION: This tungsten oxide paste contains water, has solid content of 33 cc/100 g or higher, contains ultra fine particle, free of coarse particle, has high viscosity, under the conditions except strong acidic or strong basic.
