PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high-quality image in a state where an unnecessary member is not actuated at normal processing speed whether color image formation or black monochromatic image formation is selected in a color image forming device. SOLUTION: A processing part for color 100A for forming a color toner image on the peripheral surface of a transfer belt 14a provided to be stretched and a processing part for monochrome 100B for forming a black toner image thereon are installed in parallel, and respective transfer rollers 14c1 and 14c2 provided in the respective processing parts are put in a state where they hold the belt 14a in between and freely contact with/separate from photoreceptors in the respective processing parts. Then, the device is constituted so that the color image or the black monochromatic image may be selectively formed by the image formation by either processing part and the movement of the transfer roller based on information whether the image obtained by reading the image is color or monochrome. |
