PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic catalyst carrier, capable of relaxing of thermal stress due to the temperature difference with a core and a metallic jacket. SOLUTION: In the metallic catalyst carrier, there are provided a core 20, which is formed by alternately stacking corrugated sheet and flat sheet made of metallic thin plate, multiplying winding thereof, and fastening with diffusion bonding and a metallic outer jacket 10 surrounding the core, and the core and the metallic outer jacket are secured with an oval solder 40, inserted between them as well as not opposing at the same section of the core, and expanding in the longitudinal direction of the core. |
