PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator in which cooling is performed while eliminating stagnation of chill and reducing transfer of smell regardless of variation of load, e.g. foods, by supplying chill individually to respective shelves of a refrigeration chamber. SOLUTION: Interior of a thermal insulation box 1 is sectioned into a refrigeration chamber 5, a vegetable chamber 6, and a freezing chamber 7 by partitioners 8 and 9, a cooler 14 for refrigeration and a cooling fan 15 for refrigeration chamber are disposed below the refrigeration chamber 5, a plurality of shelf plates 5a are provided in the refrigeration chamber 5 at an interval in the vertical direction and chill generated from the cooler 14 for refrigeration is supplied by means of the cooling fan 15 for refrigeration chamber. In such a refrigerator, a chill supply duct 20 extending vertically and communicating with the supply opening 15a of the cooling fan 15 for refrigeration chamber is formed on one side face of the refrigeration chamber 5, and a plurality of outlets 21 for supplying chill into the refrigeration chamber 5 are made in the chill supply duct 20. On the other side face of the refrigeration chamber 5, a plurality of openings 22 for returning chill in the refrigeration chamber 5 back to the cooler 14 for refrigeration are made and a chill circulation duct 23 extending vertically between the return opening 22 and the cooler 14 for refrigeration is formed.
