PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous matching of business forms after errors in supply and carrying of a particular number of sheets and items to be gathered are removed, in an enclosing-and-sealing system for enclosing and sealing matters, which are gathered to be enclosed, e.g. a particular number of business forms and a particular number of items, into an envelope. SOLUTION: A gathering-and-carrying line 12 carries a mirror 21, a particular number of specifications 19 and advertisement sheets, all of which are gathered on an enclosing-and-sealing carrying line 13 where envelopes 24 are supplied by an envelope supply section 23. A specification supply mechanism 15 supplies a particular number of specifications 19, and a mirror supply mechanism 16 supplies mirrors 21. An leaflet supply mechanism 14 supplies a particular number of leaflets 17. The enclosing-and-sealing system is constructed such that in relation to the gathering-and-carrying line 12, the specification supply mechanism 15 and the mirror supply mechanism 16 are disposed in the vicinity of an enclosing start position rather than the vicinity of the leaflet supply mechanism 14.
