PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature detecting device which can detect a temperature with one temperature detecting means such as a thermistor at approximately the same resolution over a wide range of temperature. SOLUTION: In the temperature detecting device which detects a temperature using a temperature detecting means which changes a resistance depending on temperature, the temperature detecting device is constructed so that one or more first resistors are connected in parallel to the temperature detecting means, one or more second resistors are connected in series to the first resistors connected in parallel to the temperature detecting means, and a switching means is provided which switches combinations of the first resistors and the second resistors.
