PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal enclosed scroll compressor for helium which is effective in both cooling a motor unit and reducing oil shortage, and highly reliable. SOLUTION: In the horizontal scroll compressor for helium using gaseous helium as working gas, a gas flow direction changing means effective both in cooling a motor and reducing oil shortage is provided on a delivery port of a fixed scroll.
