SOLUTION: Since the small diameter part of the return spring 26 is set up, so that the outer wall of stop part 25b of the throttle gear 25 makes contact in the opening position of idle opening, a small-diameter part 26b of a winding number n coils around stop part 25b from the opening position of idle opening up to a large-diameter part 26a of a winding number N shows energization power, and the torque characteristic of the return spring 26 changes rapidly in the opening position of idle opening. Therefore, the demand performance in the time of making it open from a full close position to the degree of idle opening position and making it open from the degree position of idle opening to a full open position can be secured, the motor load torque from the degree position of idle opening to a full open position can be reduced, and can bring the driving force of a motor 40 as small to an end. Consequently, a motor 40 can be made small, manufacture cost can be reduced, and the loading space of the throttle device 10 can be secured easily.
