PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently perform loading/unloading works of containers for storing cargos in a carrying device attachably/detachably mounting the containers on a self-traveling carriage travelable on a fixed traveling route. SOLUTION: This device is constituted by jointly providing a container storage shelf 13 for storing a plurality of containers 9 so as to be freely put in/out at a loading/unloading work station 11 for the containers 9 for storing cargos and providing a container carrying means 15 provided with a container transfer means 14 for performing container unloading for the self-traveling carriage 1 at the loading/unloading work station 11 and transferring the containers 9 between the load/unloading work station 11 and the container storage shelf 13.
