COUNTERWEIGHT STRUCTURE FOR CONSTRUCTION MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counterweight structure for a construction machine, which facilitates addition of a additional counterweight to a main counterweight and facilitates control of the addition. SOLUTION: According to the counterweight structure, the additional counterweight 30 can be fastened to a rear portion of the main counterweight 20 by means of a bolt 40. To this end, a fitting hole 21 is formed in a rear surface of the main counterweight 20 such that a lower surface of the fitting hole is horizontal but an upper surface of the same is upward inclined toward a free end. Further, a projection 31 is formed on a front surface of the additional counterweight 30 so as to be fitted in the fitting hole 21 in a manner bringing its lower surface into contact with the lower surface of the fitting hole 21.
