PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar radiation shielding device of a room mirror for a vehicle capable of suppressing temperature rise of an electronic part accommodated in the room mirror without steeply increasing a cost. SOLUTION: A sun visor 6 is attached on a column 5 for supporting the room mirror 3. The sun visor 6 can be attached on the column 5 as the need arises. The solar radiation coming from a windshield 2 and irradiating the room mirror 3 is shielded in this attached condition. Thus, the electronic part in the room mirror 3 is prevented from being excessively heated.
