PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear, capable of surely transmitting the motive power and having durability, without generating a fatigue fracture. SOLUTION: In this reduction gear 1, when a drive motor 11 is driven to rotate a drive shaft 12 counterclockwise, several epicyclic gears 19 and 19 engaged with a sun gear 16 revolve counterclockwise around the drive shaft 12 while clockwise rotating. Internal teeth 36 of a gear belt 35 are engaged with several epicyclic gears 19 and 19 and pressed, a pressed part thereof is deflected outward; and external teeth 37 are engaged with the internal teeth 9 of a plate member 7 and the internal teeth 31 of a rotary member 30 at the same time and rotated clockwise. The clockwise rotation of the gear belt 35 is transmitted to the rotary member 30, and the output shaft 32 rotates clockwise, while reducing the speed.
