PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire resistant adhesive that emits a large amount of minus ions that are good for human body, has excellent fire resistance, sound insulating properties, heat insulating properties, and dew condensation preventing properties, and also has antibacterial and insect-repelling effects, and to provide a fire resistant member therewith. SOLUTION: This fire resistant adhesive comprises a neutral liquid obtained by mixing and reacting a solution obtained by mixing active carbon, water, borax, boric acid and phosphoric acid, with a solution obtained by diluting, with water, an alkaline solution obtained by reacting potassium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, metal silicon, and water. The active carbon is made from coconut husks. The fire resistant adhesive further contains herbs, and one or more of solution type adhesives and/or aqueous adhesives.
