PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color toner for electrophotography capable of utilizing a photofixing method, without generating no void and further having both of a negative electrostatic charge and a color toner fixing property in photofixing. SOLUTION: In the color toner for the electrophotography containing at least a binder resin and a colorant, a calix arene compound is used in combination with an infrared ray absorbing compound exhibiting at least a light absorption peak in a 700-1,000 nm wavelength region.
