PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve responsiveness of an engine output with respect to a throttle operation, reduce weight and cost of an internal combustion engine, and ensure excellent assembling easiness of an intake device. SOLUTION: This intake device 20 of the multi-cylinder internal combustion engine E is coupled to cylinder heads 3F, 3R having intake ports 101 to 105 formed to cylinders 51 to 55 , and comprises five intake passages 251 to 255 communicating with the intake ports 101 to 105 . This intake device 20 comprises: an integrally formed single intake body 21 directly coupled to the cylinder head 3F, 3R or coupled to the cylinder head 3F, 3R with a slight gap interposed therebetween and formed with five downstream side intake passages 271 to 275 ; and a plurality of throttle bodies 221 to 225 separately coupled to the intake body 21 and formed with upstream side intake passages 261 to 265 . In the intake body 21, fuel injection valves are respectively installed to the intake passages 251 to 255 .
