PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink drying prevention device which can prevent ink of an ink jet recording head from drying for a long term and facilitate a maintenance operation to the ink jet recording head by averaging an amount of the air to be pressed into each nozzle, an ink jet recording head storage container and an ink jet recorder to which the ink drying prevention device is applied. SOLUTION: A plurality of sealing recesses 122 corresponding to ink ejection openings 16 are formed to a contact face 114T of a sealing member 114 of the ink drying prevention device 112. The contact face 114T is to contact an ink ejection face 14. In a sealing state, a sealing space is formed for each individual ink ejection opening 16 corresponding to the sealing recess 122, and the amount of the air to be pressed into each nozzle 18 is averaged. Therefore, a discharge ink amount of the whole of the ink jet recording head 12 when the air in the nozzles 18 is discharged by the maintenance operation is reduced.
