PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the large item/small scale production of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymers (EVOH) in a stable state to enable uniform dispersion of the compounded ingredients corresponding to the versertility of the use of EVOH. SOLUTION: At least a part of the EVOH (component A) extruded from the 1st extruder and having a water content of 5-40 wt.% is introduced into the 2nd extruder, an addition component (component B) is added to the component A melted in the 2nd extruder an the mixture is kneaded and extruded. A third component (component C) may be further introduced into the 1st extruder.
