The method involves feeding the waste heat from the engine (16) to the cabin (21) of the vehicle. The temperature of the engine is measured directly or indirectly and if the temperature is less than a first threshold the air feed to the engine is choked to set a defined reduced induction pressure until the temperature of the engine exceeds a second threshold.
