Lubricant oil composition for internal combustion engines

A lubricating oil composition comprises 0.01 weight% (wt.%) or more of a lubricant base oil and an alkylene oxide-added non-ionic surfactant comprising a compound with a hydrophilic lipophilic balance value of at least 15, and a molecular weight of at least 900. An independent claim is included for reducing friction of internal combustion engine, in which a lubricant oil for sliding components is contaminated with soot in combustion exhaust gas, using the above lubricating oil composition.
