PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a foamed molding in which a skin layer and a highly expanded core are molded from the same resin and which has a good appearance and is light in weight and high in rigidity and impact resistance. SOLUTION: In the method, the foamed molding is produced through an injection packing process. An expandable resin composition comprises a specified propylene-ethylene block copolymer, an elastic ethylene-1-octene copolymer, an inorganic filler, and a blowing agent. The injection is started from a position adjusted to the volume of a cavity which is smaller than the volume of the composition per shot, and finished at a position corresponding to the total volume of the composition and a foaming process in which the composition is expanded while the volume of the cavity is increased.
