Resilient synthetic plastics tray shaped flooring units having alternate counterwork holes 8 and keyhole slots 10 are interconnected by resilient studs having a rounded head 6 which is pressed through hole 8, a shank 5 which is a sliding fit in hole 8 and a press fit through the narrow part of slot 10 and a head 7 of greater diameter than the wide portion of slot 10. A modified stud has a shank in two portions a narrow portion which easily passes the narrow portion of the keyhole slot and a wider portion which is a sliding fit in the wider portion of the slot. |
