PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with an automatic stop valve for preventing drug, etc., from flowing out from a male connector and air from flowing in therefrom when it is required to connect the male connector and a female connector provided at each medical instrument in the case of injecting or sucking operation of the drug, etc. SOLUTION: The connector 1 with an automatic stop valve is provided with a male connector main body 2 and a valve 3 element installed at a tip in the connecting direction of the male connector main body 2 to the female connector. The valve element 3 is provided with a slit 5 for opening and closing a channel and at least a part of the outer periphery of the valve 3 element 3 is in contact with the inner wall of the female connector when the connector 1 is fitted to the female connector. Since the outer periphery of the valve element 3 is in contact with the inner wall of the female connector to be pressurized, the valve element 3 is deformed and the slit 5 opens automatically. When pulling off the connector 1 from the female connector, a deformed valve element 3 is restored and the slit 5 is closed automatically. |
