PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary material avoiding crushing impediment of throwaway diapers caused by excessive swelling and gelation in a disposer type water flow agitating crushing machine used in a hospital, etc., biodegrading them in a sewage treatment process, and preventing their accumulation in treatment facilities. SOLUTION: This completely biodegradable sanitary material in the sewage treatment process is so formed that crosslinked pregelatinized starch powder as absorbing material has a capacity as the diaper absorbing and retaining discharged body fluid easily crushed and separated in a tank of the crushing machine after the use, and discharged to the sewage.
