PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a super abrasive grinding wheel which has excellent retaining force of super abrasive and favorable cutting effect, and which can be manufactured by conventional manufacturing facilities of resin-bond super abrasive grain wheels, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In a super abrasive grain wheel having an abrasive layer containing a super abrasive grain, a binder and optionally a filler, the binder comprises a mix of 10-60 vol.% of a polyimide resin and 40-90 vol.% of a glass whose softening point is 250-450 deg.C. In a manufacturing method for the super abrasive grain wheel, a powder mix which contains a binder consisting of polyimide resin powder and glass powder whose softening point is 250-450 deg.C, super abrasive grain and optionally a filler, is molded at the temperature of 250-500 deg.C and provided with an abrasive layer in an action part of a base metal.
