PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pellet conveying device that transfers a line touch loaded pellet group from a tray to the other one by a suction conveying means, solving dust generation problem caused by a slide method, or complicated mechanism and quick degradation problems caused by gripping method, adapting freely to various long and short pellet groups with ensured suction performance. SOLUTION: A lateral traveling body 2 controlled by a lateral conveyance drive 2a is stopped at a right position of the lateral conveyance base body 1. A pellet suction mechanism 3 controlled by a going up and down drive 3a is lowered to the top of a tray T1. A cavity 3c of the pellet suction mechanism 3 is decompressed by an exhaust pump 3b. A pellet group composed by a line touch pellet P of the tray T1 is sucked to an opening 3g of a pellet suction slit 3h connected to the cavity 3c. It is conveyed to a tray T2 closely equipped. The pellet group transfer can be completed by an operation stop of the exhaust pump 3b. In this case the length of the opening 3g is adjustable to the length of the pellet group by partial opening or closing of a shutter belt 4d equipped in a shutter mechanism 4.
