PURPOSE: An apparatus and method of controlling energy recovering circuit are provided to supply a sustain voltage at an optimized resonant point by controlling the energy recovering circuit. CONSTITUTION: The first and the second switches(S1,S2) are connected in parallel between an external capacitor(Css) and an inductor(L). The third switch(S3) is used for supplying a sustain voltage(Vcc) to a panel capacitor(Cp). The fourth switch(S4) is used for supplying a ground voltage to the panel capacitor(Cp). A comparator(40) is used for comparing voltages applied both ends of the inductor(L) to each other. A switch control portion is used for controlling the third switch(S3) and the fourth switch(S4) in response to an output signal of the comparator(40). The first and the second diodes(D1,D2) are connected between the first and the second switches(S1,S2) in order to limit inverse current. |
