PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print data without retransmitting it even when radio transmission paths are disconnected during transmission of the data. SOLUTION: This printing system 10 comprises a terminal device 12 and printers PRT1-3. Each printer PRT1-3 is connected to be able to communicate each other through a relay 14. The terminal device 12 and each printer PRT1-3 are respectively equipped with radio LAN cards 16. The terminal device 12 is provided with a means for detecting printers capable of establishing the radio transmission paths. When the terminal device 12 is instructed to print, the terminal device 12 selects an available printer from each printer PRT1-3 and transmits the data to be printed to it. When the radio transmission paths are disconnected during the transmission of the data, the system changes the printer to an other printer and continues communication of the data. The data already transmitted is transferred between each printer PRT1-3. |
