<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uninterruptive power supply and a battery replacement promotion system allowing the positive operation of battery replacement of the uninterruptive power supply. SOLUTION: This battery replacement promotion system 10 is composed of a UPS 21 installed at a customer company 20, a user computer 22, a controller computer 23 and a center computer 31 installed at a service center 30. The user computer 22 transmits the following information to the center computer 31 on the basis of a monitoring program; (i) battery management information such as the use start date of the UPS 21 at the time of automatic user registration by online, and (ii) an advance notice to the effect that the battery time is almost up. When receiving the battery replacement advance notice from the user computer 22, the center computer 31 transmits an estimate indicating the cost required for battery replacement, together with the communication by E-mail to the controller computer 23.</p> |
