PURPOSE: An information providing method using a demon program and a system thereof are provided to be downloaded and installed the demon program automatically when a user wants to receive news from a web site, display wanted information to a new active window when wanted information is received and disappear the window after a constant time, so that a user can receive information while working without interrupting a working window. CONSTITUTION: A demon client server(100) includes a virtual connection program(102) for setting a communication path to a server. An information display module(103) displays the information data provided by an information providing server(200) by producing a new window. The information providing server(200) includes an information collection module(204) for collecting and combining the data to be transmitted by an information provider. An information processing module(203) is to customize data to fit the user and to make the data change to fit the communication. A connection management module(202) produces a connection statistical data in order to be transmitted to the information provider.
