PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load drive device that suppresses rush current at start of driving a load. SOLUTION: The load drive device uses a power supply whose output voltage is higher than a usual drive voltage of a load to drive the load. A FET 4 is connected to the load 2 and a rectangular wave pulse signal S1 is supplied from a rectangular wave pulse output means 5a to the gate of the FET 4. Then the FET 4 is turned on/off by this signal S1 to supply a current to the load 2. Furthermore, when a rush current flows to the load 2 at start of driving and a time constant circuit provided to the gate of the FET 4 is activated to provide a time constant at the rise of the rectangular wave pulse signal S1. Thus, the current flowing through the load 2 is gradually increased to suppress the rush current. |
