PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously receive >=2 channels by one tuner. SOLUTION: A video signal receiver is constituted of a mixer 34 to which an input video signal is supplied, a first local oscillator 36 for oscillating a first local oscillation frequency, a second local oscillator 38 for oscillating a second local oscillation frequency, a control part 42 provided with a channel selection function of giving a first reception channel selection signal to the first local oscillator and giving a second reception channel selection signal to the second local oscillator, a first video intermediate frequency amplifier circuit 16 to which the video intermediate frequency signal of the first reception channel is supplied and a second video intermediate frequency amplifier circuit 26 to which the video intermediate frequency signal of the second reception channel is supplied. The two local oscillation frequencies are simultaneously supplied to the mixer so as to perform a frequency mixing processing with the input video signal. Then the two channels are simultaneously received by providing a frequency mixture output to the two video intermediate frequency amplifier circuits which are set by the different video intermediate frequencies. Thus the two channels are received without preparing the two tuners.
