PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TV receiver for preventing image quality from being drastically deteriorated when a state becomes the multipass one and/or the electric field rapid change one. SOLUTION: A video/AGC level change detecting means 11 for outputting a detection output DET when a rapid change is detected in a video signal level and/or IF/RF-AGC level and a response varying means 12 for changing responsiveness in an IF-AGC means 7 and/or an RF-AGC means 8 when the detection output is received are newly introduced to constitute the TV receiver.
