The release device has a bimetallic element (12) for each of the main current circuit, coupled to a push-pull differential slider mechanism (13) and a compensation bimetallic element (14) acting as a release lever for transferring the output of the differential slider mechanism to a switch block. All sliding surfaces of the differential slider mechanism are coated with a solid lubrication material.
