PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switch network using optical fiber, which includes optical routers for routing information. SOLUTION: A plurality of data channels 20, a data channel group 14, and a control channel 16 are transferred together through each fiber. Data are transferred on a data channel by using data burst, and control information is transferred on a control channel 18 by using burst header packet. The burst header packet includes routing information for a related data burst 28, and proceeds the related data burst. Parallel scheduling in a plurality of delays can be used for faster scheduling. In accordance with an embodiment, unscheduled time caps can be processed in a unified memory for more efficient operation. |
