The invention concerns a device for equalizing a received signal, transmitted via a transmission channel, comprising a decision-feedback equalizer. The invention is characterised in that said device uses means initialising filtering coefficients of said equalizer taking into account an estimation of the response of said transmission channel delivered by a channel estimator.
