PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workstation system, computer device, data transfer method, data editing method, etc., capable of performing data transfer between different computer devices with ease and reliability. SOLUTION: In the computer device 20, data on an application is cut or copied, and stored in a clipboard 25. The data stored in the clipboard 25 is taken out, and transferred to a computer device 40 through a network 10, by a clipboard server 26 in response to a request from a computer device 40. The data taken out from the clipboard 25 is transferred to the computer device 40 as it is without being made a file. In the computer device having received the data, the data is indicated on a browser executed by a browser executing section 43. Alternatively, the data may be directly indicated on an application, or stored in a clipboard 47.
