METHOD FOR ISOLATING BLOCK FREQUENCY FROM BLOCK FORMATTED SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A method for isolating a block frequency from a block formatted signal is provided to isolate the block frequency on the basis of the block formatted signal. CONSTITUTION: A signal is formed of symbols having encoded modulation transmitted according to an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) mode. A delay device(12) delays symbol blocks. A subtracting device(13) correlates the symbol block to a delayed symbol block corresponding to the symbol block. Thus a differential signal(e(t)) used for synchronization is obtained.
