<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information communication system having excellent usability, in which a person can make a call by selecting one from a call via a public line network and a call via any other network, and can use a telephone set regardless of the kind of the network to be used. SOLUTION: Each of clients 20 connected to a network 60 is connected to a public line network 50 and a telephone set 30. The client 20 is arranged to be able to switch between connection and non-connection to the telephone set 30 and the public line network 50. When a telephone number registered in advance is input, the client 20 forces the telephone set 30 to be in non-connection with the public line network 50 and allows the telephone set 30 to make a call via the network 60. On the other hand, when a telephone number not registered in advance is input, the client 20 allows the telephone set 30 to make a call via the public line network 50. Therefore, there is no difference between the call via the network 60 and the call via the public line network 50 in user's operation of the telephone set 30, so that the information communication system has the excellent usability.</p> |
