PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection confirmation device capable of automatically confirming connection between a sequencer and various limit switches(LSs) connected to the sequencer. SOLUTION: In this connection confirmation device, whether the input address is set is checked on each LS, referring to a parameter group storage part 13 setting the input address of a sequencer to which signals from a plurality of LSs are inputted, and original data with the result arranged in the optional order corresponding to the LSs is prepared and stored in an original data storage part 15. After the output of an operation command signal, whether there is input at present in the input address set to a parameter group is checked, and operation data with the result arranged in the aforementioned order is prepared and stored in an operation data storage part 16. Whether the presence of input address setting in the original data and the presence of input in the operation data are arranged in the same order is compared to determine the connected state.
