PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an omnidirectional camera which has no unnecessary photoelectric converting element and can output image data of uniform resolution in real time. SOLUTION: The omnidirectional camera 100 is equipped with a mirror 1 which has a reflecting surface along a specific curve, an optical lens 2 which converges light reflected by the reflecting surface of the mirror 1 on a substrate 3, and photoelectric converting elements 5 which are arranged on the substrate 3 radially around the center of the substrate 3. Each photoelectric converting element 5 receives the light converged by the optical lens 2 and converts the intensity of the received light into an electric signal.
