PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system with a large degree of freedom through the use of simplified installation of mobile communication units by employing mobile phones (or PHS terminals) for a transmitter side and a receiver side so as to make installation works or the like unnecessary. SOLUTION: When a receiver side uses a mobile communication unit such as a mobile phone to receive a signal sent from a remote place at a house or the like, the simplicity of installation is provided and a learning remote control function is provided to a device to be connected so as to easily store infrared ray emission LED output specifications for an air-conditioner or the like which are different for each manufacturer and to activate the air- conditioner or the like, thereby solving the above task.
