PURPOSE: A folded armrest is provided to improve the convenience of a passenger by removing a momentary shock in operating a lock handle of the armrest and to increase the safety of the passenger by preventing the conduction of a seatback in clashing cars. CONSTITUTION: A stopper plate(220) contains a guide groove(221). A sector gear(230) is formed by a gear portion(231) in the outer face of the guide groove. A hinge point(210) is combined with an armrest(100) by combining with a seatback(200) and integrally fixed with the sector gear. A lock handle(110) is formed in the armrest. A lock releasing rod(120) is combined with the lock handle and formed by a shock absorbing portion(121) by locating inside the armrest. A lock arm(130) is formed by a fixing protrusion(131) to insert into the guide groove and formed by a gear(135) to gear with the sector gear by hinging with an elastic member(133) in an armrest frame(134). Thereby, the momentary shock is removed when the lock handle is operated and the conduction of the seatback is prevented.
