PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which is inexpensive and whose installation position can be arbitrarily changed in the axial direction. SOLUTION: A protruded portion is formed on the outside of an iron core in a plurality of places to form a flange portion 3, and mounting holes 6 for holding a motor are formed in the flange portion 3 to form a flanged core 4. The flanged core 4 and stator cores 5 having a circular core contour are combined together with the flanged core 4 sandwiched between the stator core 5 and the stator core 5 to form a stator iron core 2. The stator iron core is used to form the motor 1. Thus, the cost of the motor is reduced, and the installation position of the motor can be arbitrarily changed in the axial direction.
