PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record two programs which are broadcasted in the same time period. SOLUTION: The first program is received by a second tuner 4 and recorded in a second recording and reproducing part 7. The second program is received by a first tuner 1 and recorded by a first recording and reproducing part 3. The first recording and reproducing part 3 simultaneously performs recording and reproducing. When the recording of the first program is completed in the second recording and reproducing part 7, the reproduction of the second program is started from the leading part and the second recording and reproducing part 7 records it. Thus, the two programs are recorded in the second recording and reproducing part 7.
