PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the driving circuit of a fluorescent display tube capable of preventing properly the generation of flicker. SOLUTION: In this driving circuit of the fluorescent display tube, the synchronizing signal followed to the frequency of the power source of a filament power source circuit is generated and the generated synchronizing signal having a waveform such as that shown in the figure (a) is supplied to a microcomputer for control. When a cycle is 300μsec like it is shown in the figure (b), the computer for control waits for the rising of the synchronizing signal shown in the figure (a). Then, the microcomputer starts a cycle from the rising of the synchronizing signal like it is shown in the figure (c) and the computer supplies a control signal to an FL driver by spending 300μsec. After an elapse of 300μsec, the computer waits for the rising of the synchronizing signal again and, then, it starts a next cycle.
